High School Action Plan
In the United States, students must complete high school, typically grades 9-12, to apply to colleges or universities. As a result, the high school years are an excellent time for each student to independently learn to assess strengths vs. weaknesses, as well as an opportunity to explore what subjects in school or careers may be of most interest.
Charting a comprehensive, four-year plan for high school, including academic and extracurricular goals sets the tone for the years ahead.
In order to set goals and chart your future ahead, we will prepare a high school action plan to help your student stay on track with college planning and preparation as high school freshmen, high school sophomores, high school juniors, and high school seniors.
Our plans include exercises to achieve the following for your student:
- Identify academic strengths and maintain high grades
- Work with your academic counselor (if needed)
- Prepare for standardized tests
- Select appropriate teachers to write recommendations
- Build strong extracurricular activities
- Search for community service programs
- Conduct scholarship search (if applicable)
